The Deep Blue Sea  by Terence Rattigan, was an emotional rollercoaster for us players. Set in the 1950s, our lead, Hester Collyer (Amanda Perry - new member!), opens the play with her attempted suicide. She has left behind a somewhat pedestrian, if not privileged, life with her High Court judge husband to take up with ex-RAF pilot, Freddie. But he can't give her the passion her heart desires. Surrounded by concerned neighbours and her ex-husband, still she remains alone to decide about her own future. What will she choose?

We loved stepping into Hester's world for this dramatic insight into 1950s London. We hope you enjoy the pictures!
